Academics is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to work across secondary schools in the Bridlington area. We're looking for professionals who are passionate about English Language and Literature and who can deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote a lifelong love of reading, writing, and analysis.
What We're Looking For:
A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent) with a specialism in English.
Demonstrated experience teaching English across Key Stages 3, 4, and A-level.
A creative and thoughtful approach to lesson planning that brings texts to life and prepares students for success in GCSE and A-level assessments.
A strong command of classroom management and the ability to create an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
A commitment to nurturing analytical and communication skills, and a passion for exploring a diverse literary canon-from Shakespeare to modern authors.
