Experienced Project Manager required by this busy main contractor to manage the fit out and complete external works to a block of 55 apartments in Wokingham.
Reporting to the visiting Contracts Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the scheme through to handover later next year.
You will lead your team holding responsibility for client liaison, the smooth and timely progress of construction on site, and financial control of the project throughout.
This project is partially complete, taking over works undertaken so far by another contractor. RC frame is complete, mainly clad and weather tight, with first fix internal fit out commenced at early stages.

This busy regional main contractor, is based in Hampshire with an annual turnover of £25-£30m for the region, with secured workload mainly in the public sector with local authorities - theatres, offices, healthcare, libraries, car-parks, schools and colleges, retirement homes and residential, procured both through competitive tender and frameworks, plus often negotiated with repeat clients; Projects range in value from £2m to £15m in value, covering both new build and refurbishment.
Patch focus cover Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, Surrey and into West Sussex, mainly M3/M4/A3M corridors.
Requirements:
You will be an experienced Project Manager or No1 Senior Site Manager looking to step up, with a proven track record within a Tier 1 or 2 main contracting organisation, able to deliver schemes up from circa £5m - £10m in value
Key attributes will include excellent client, design team and site team management ability, technical, contractual and commercial knowledge, plus focus and drive. Typically you will be leading a small tea with a high level of autonomy and ownership.
