Lead Commissioning Engineer required for our client, a successful HVAC manufacturer operating across 65 countries. They are expanding their Data Centre Delivery Team and seeking a Lead Commissioning Engineer to join.
The Lead Commissioning Engineer will supervise a small site-based team of engineers and operatives, ensuring all commissioning activities are completed, and collaborate closely with the Control & Commissioning Manager.
Key responsibilities include executing Air Handling Unit (AHU) commissioning tasks according to established scripts, supervising site teams to adhere to health and safety standards, and working with the Project Manager to deliver the commissioning programme within the agreed timeframe and budget.
This role may require travel across Europe to various Data Centres and to the company's factory in Germany.
Job Requirements
* Electrical qualifications with 18th edition
* F-gas certification
* Understanding of airflow principles and measurement (electricity, pressure, temperature, humidity)
* Experience with HVAC and MODBUS systems
* Strong problem-solving skills in mechanical, electrical, and control systems
* Experience with Data Centres and knowledge of ASHRAE Commissioning stages (L1-L5) is highly desirable
* Valid CSCS, PASMA/IPAF certifications
* Current SSSTS or SMSTS card (not essential)
* Ability to commute daily to Dagenham with working hours from 7:30 to 16:00
