About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team in Bermondsey. Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching to pupils with complex learning, communication, and behavioural needs
Create and implement personalised learning plans, EHCP targets, and appropriate interventions
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals
Use a range of specialist strategies and approaches to support engagement, independence, and emotional regulation
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
Maintain accurate records and contribute to multi-agency reviews and assessments
Uphold the school’s safeguarding responsibilities at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS
Has significant teaching experience with children who have complex needs (e.g., ASD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD)
Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills and a child-centred approach
Is knowledgeable about adaptive teaching, sensory needs, and communication strategies
Is resilient, reflective, and committed to inclusive education
Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
