The role: The Facilities Management team are located at Gravesend and currently consist of the Facilities Manager and two co-ordinators managing soft and hard services accordingly, across multiple sites within the southeast. Working within the Port of London’s Facilities Department based primarily at the Gravesend with some travel required, you will be assisting the team to manage Facilities Services to the company’s main and remote sites. The sites vary in size and complexity, presenting many challenges in relation to ensuring that Facilities Services are monitored and delivered to comply with relevant approved guidance and regulation. Key responsibilities: Maintain the helpdesk facilities Maintain all Facilities department’s sites database Conduct all aspects of administration and co-ordination to all sites as required Maintain the Facilities Department Asset information/system and PPM schedule Coordinate visits to sites including inductions Supervise visits to all remote sites when required Support the Facilities Hard Services Coordinator and Facilities Manager on all sites remaining legally compliant at all time What we are looking for: The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask, with good written and verbal communication skills. The person will need to be able to work as part of a dynamic team with the ability to be flexible in their approach, including liaison with internal and external stakeholders, the person will also be a proactive self-starter able to take ownership of duties and tasks.
