Technician/Receptionist - Hair and Beauty
Location: Worksop
Salary: £24,476 (£20,506.92 Pro-rata) per annum + benefits
Hours : Part time (31hrs per week, all year round)

The Role
The role of Technician/Receptionist is a key position at their Worksop Campus overseeing the reception of the Innovate Salons, the training and vocational department for their Hair & Beauty curriculum area. Following significant investment in their salons they have 2 hair salons, 2 beauty salons,1 tanning studio, 1 non-medical treatment (Aesthetic) area and 1 specialist media make-up studio.
You will help ensure that all clients get a first-class service and have an enjoyable experience that makes them want to return again and again. You will make every interaction with clients professional and friendly, ensuring that the quality-of-service matches that of the treatments. To do so you will be involved in planning services and treatments (alongside the technicians and vocational staff) and will be responsible for marketing the salons, via direct customer contact, promotions and relationship building. You will also be responsible for developing retail and meeting sales targets.
You will be available for hours in the day, but also some evenings and Saturdays.
Skills and Qualifications
You will have experience working within a salon providing excellent customer service.
You should be an effective and motivated team player, with excellent organisational skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues, work accurately & meet deadlines.
You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or be willing to undertake) and a minimum level 2 Qualification in Business/Customer Service or similar.
Department Info
You will report to a Curriculum Team leader, who will give you direction, but you will have authority to act autonomously in your day-to-day work and to make decisions within guidelines. Youll work as part of the Hair and Beauty Curriculum team and work closely with the Hair and Beauty Curriculum team, supporting the Salons operation.
