We are searching for the best talent for Warehouse Operator 1 to be in Somerset, New Jersey
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform picking, packing, receiving, cycle counting, putting away, and shipping of inventory.
* Maintain relationships with distribution and customer service areas, follow regulatory and safety procedures, and perform assignments with necessary technology and equipment.
* Qualified in 75% of their respective operation with knowledge of all SOPs for qualified areas, demonstrates proficiency in performance responsibilities, and has knowledge of JOM Distribution Company Policies and Rules.
* Complies with Safety and Health Standards and all rules and regulations, which are applicable to own actions and conduct. Practices the Stop, Stay, and resolve initiative when necessary and communicates any follow-ups with a Supervisor.
* Operates systems and equipment necessary to process orders, i.e. MARC, ship line, labelers, material moving equipment, manifest system.
* Assist the Distribution Supervisor with resolving procedural inconsistencies and work with SMEs to provide suggestions and/or corrections.
* Develop, evaluate, implement, and monitor quality management strategies to avoid, exploit, reduce, or transfer issues.
* Demonstrates an active participation in the communication process within the team environment as a minute taker or facilitator in mass team meetings, sub-team meetings, communication meetings, safety meetings, etc.
* Take ownership of identifying and solving issues with management.
Qualifications:
Education:
* Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent degree required
Experience and Skills:
Required:
* Minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience
Preferred:
* Minimum of six (6) months’ work experience within a GXP environment
* Experience with MARC or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
* Basic proficiency in all functions of Microsoft Office
Other:
* Requires capability of becoming Forklift Certified and ability to work at heights to pick product; current certification is a plus
* Requires continuous lifting and/or moving lightweight material (5-25 lbs) and frequent lifting or moving average weight material (25-50 lbs)
* Requires ability & willingness to work between the operational hours of 7:00am - 3:30pm (EST), with overtime on weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
* Requires up to 10% domestic travel

* The anticipated base pay range for this position is $ 42,490 – $50,960 annually.
* The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
