Maintenance Engineer - Wincanton, Somerset
£45,000 - £50,000
Monday - Friday days + Plenty of overtime

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products of exceptional quality. With a strong order book and expansion into various export markets, they are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Respond to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime and enhance long-term machine reliability.
* Execute the plan set by Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer for both preventive and reactive maintenance.
* Utilize root cause analysis tools & 5S methodology.
* Support a culture of Continuous Improvement by engineering out persistent problems.
* Perform routine Planned Preventative Maintenance.
* Accurately record all maintenance tasks on an electronic reporting system.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Formal Engineering Qualification - C&G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or Apprenticeship trained.
* Continuous improvement knowledge.
* Strong understanding of good engineering standards.
* Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or production environments.
