The role involves analysing current entitlement processes, defining future‑state access models, supporting regulatory and audit requirements, and coordinating with Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk, and Business Operations teams. This is an on‑site hybrid role based in Northampton (2–3 days per week) and requires BPSS eligibility. The contract runs until 31/12/2026 and must be PAYE via umbrella.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirements
5. Analyse current entitlement models, access rules, privileged access processes, and control gaps.
6. Gather and document business and functional requirements for entitlement remediation and optimisation.
7. Translate regulatory and audit expectations into clear process and system changes.
Entitlement & Accessernance
8. Support entitlement rationalisation and target‑state access design across applications and platforms.
9. Work with IAM and Cyber teams to define RBAC/ABAC models, least‑privilege frameworks, and accessernance standards.
10. Assist in defining and validating Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.
Process Mapping & Documentation
11. Produce process flows, entitlement catalogues, data dictionaries, and operating models for the full entitlement lifecycle.
12. Document user journeys, pain points, and control weaknesses across provisioning, reviews, and deprovisioning.
Stakeholder & Delivery Management
13. Collaborate with Technology Owners, Application Teams, Cyber, and Control partners to ensure accurate implementation.
14. Manage requirements traceability, impact assessments, and support UAT for entitlement‑related changes.
Risk, Controls &pliance
15. Work with Risk & Control teams to address audit findings and regulatory expectations.
16. Support creation of remediation plans, control evidence, and risk acceptance documentation.
17. Ensure alignment with internal policies, SOX, ISO, and regulatory standards.
Essential Skills & Experience
18. Proven Business Analyst experience in banking, ideally within IAM, Entitlement, or Cybersecurity programmes.
19. Strong understanding of accessernance (RBAC, ABAC, SoD, the least privilege).
20. Experience analysing entitlements, access roles, and control gaps acrossplex systems.
21. Excellent documentation skills: requirements, process flows, operating models.
22. Strong stakeholder engagement across technology, business, and control functions.
