The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.
As a CDP at Porter & Rye, you'll be responsible for running a specific section of the kitchen, maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and presentation, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of our menus.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and execute your section with precision and consistency.
* Work closely with senior chefs to develop and refine dishes.
* Uphold Porter & Rye's high standards for quality, hygiene, and safety.
* Support junior staff with training and mentoring.
* Contribute to stock control, ordering, and minimizing waste.
About You:
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar role within a high-end or fine dining kitchen.
* A deep passion for food, ingredients, and culinary innovation.
* Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and seasonal Scottish produce.
* Calm under pressure, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
* A team player with a desire to grow and develop professionally.
