Service Engineer / Service Technician / Refrigeration Engineer required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer. The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Refrigeration Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of refrigeration systems and associated equipment, including commercial and industrial refrigeration units, dryers, chillers, condensers, nitrogen generators and cooling technologies at the workshop near Burton-On-Trent plus customer sites UK wide when required. 50/50 split. The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Refrigeration Engineer will ideally have a service background in refrigeration, air filtration, compressed air or similar with an FGas certification. Full product training is provided. The Refrigeration Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, commissioning, diagnostics, and fault finding of various cooling and refrigeration systems. Repair, service, and maintenance of refrigeration systems and associated equipment, including commercial and industrial refrigeration units, dryers, chillers, condensers, nitrogen generators and cooling technologies Identifying and providing the customer with improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare for their refrigeration systems. Workshop based near Burton-On-Trent plus customer sites UK wide when required. 50/50 split. Liaise with various engineering departments. Service Engineer / Service Technician / Refrigeration Engineer Requirements Proven diagnostic skills on complex electrical and mechanical / electromechanical engineering equipment. Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Refrigeration Engineer or similar in refrigeration, HVAC, or related fields. The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new refrigeration customers. Service background in refrigeration, air filtration, compressed air, condensate systems or similar FGas certification is required. Full product training is provided. Mechanical engineering degree, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or similar would be advantageous. Commutable to the workshop near Burton-On-Trent plus customer sites UK wide when required.
