What you will be doing: Planned Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and complex repairs on a fleet of specialist rolling stock / rail vehicles. Reactive Fault Find & Fix: Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime and ensure operational excellence. General Support: Carry out essential pre-use checks on tools and equipment, and support key tasks such as topping up fuel and sand levels. Safety Critical Work: Adhere to rigorous engineering standards and procedures, ensuring all relevant documentation and asset management systems are accurately completed. To join the team, you will need to pass a basic DBS check, a Drugs & Alcohol test, and a full rail standard medical.
