Role Description
This specific role is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Compliance Manager (SIPP and SSAS), to assist our client on a long term (open ended), retained basis, located in either Salisbury or Newport with plenty of work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day compliance for a mid sized SIPP and SSAS firm, developing and maintaining compliance policies, conducting regular audits, ensuring regulatory requirements are met, and compliance advisory. This role will also involve liaising with senior management, managing compliance projects, and offering guidance on best practices in compliance management.
Qualifications/ Skills
* Extensive knowledge of SIPP and SSAS regulations and compliance requirements is a must.
* Experience in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures
* Strong auditing skills and ability to conduct detailed compliance audits
* Excellent advisory and communication skills for interacting with clients and regulatory bodies
* Project management skills to oversee and manage compliance projects
* Ability to work independently and within a hybrid working environment
* Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus
* Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in Wealth Management, Life & Pensions, or Asset Management, is a must.
* Experience in a ‘Private Client’ service woukd be advantageous.
