Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a qualified SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to join a school in the Daventry area. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support a committed SEND provision, ensuring every pupil receives the tailored support they need to succeed.
In this role, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to implement, monitor, and refine effective strategies for pupils with additional needs. You’ll coordinate support plans, liaise with staff and external agencies, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the school’s SEND provision
* Oversee the development and implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Coordinate interventions and monitor progress for pupils with SEND
* Provide training and guidance to teaching and support staff on inclusive practices
* Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure effective, joined-up support
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to statutory SEND reporting

Requirements:
* Previous experience as a SENCO, Learning Support Coordinator, or in a role with significant SEN responsibilities
* Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
* A genuine commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for pupils with SEND
