3. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
4. Support the accounts payable and receivable functions.
5. Manage the end to end payroll - IRIS system
6. Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
7. Process invoices and manage expense reports.
8. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
9. Provide assistance during audits and financial reviews.
10. Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and systems.
11. Handle ad hoc administrative tasks related to the accounting and finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
12. A strong foundation in accounting principles and financial procedures.
13. Proficiency in accounting software Xero, Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.
14. Keen attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
15. The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
17. Relevant educational qualifications in accounting or finance.
