Job Description
Purpose of the role
As a Money Laundering Compliance Officer, you will be supporting the Head of Compliance in the development and maintenance of an effective compliance function for Evelyn Partners International (EPI) and Evelyn Partners (Channel Islands) Limited (EPCI) in Jersey. You will be liaising effectively with all staff, to include the wider Group.
Your responsibilities will include among others:
1. Assisting to maintain up-to-date compliance risk assessments. Identifying the regulatory compliance and financial crime risks faced by EPI and EPCI.
2. Monitoring compliance and ensuring regulatory reporting is accurate and up to date
3. Giving daily support and advice on regulatory and financial crime issues to the wider team
4. Handling client complaints and escalating when necessary
5. Ensuring that appropriate measures are in place to review the CDD and other account opening documentation
6. Providing training to the team when needed
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should
7. Be educated to A level standard, or have sufficient relevant experience
8. Have relevant recognised benchmark qualification together with on-the-job experience
9. Have good compliance/AML experience gained within an investment or funds business
10. Have demonstrable practical knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory requirement

13. Ability to make timely decisions that demonstrate considered judgement
14. Ability to plan and organise in advance as far as possible
