Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that the staff facilities including locker rooms, canteen, toilets, office areas and sinks and hand dryers at the production area entrances are cleaned to a high standard.
* Replace toilet rolls, hand towels and refill all soap/sanitiser dispensers when required.
* Follow instructed cleaning rotas and complete tasks in a timeous manner.
* Notify the facilities supervisor or the facilities coordinator on stock levels of cleaning chemicals and inform them of any problems or issues that you identify.
* Challenge any staff member who is seen to be vandalising any area or item of company property in any way, or any person not adhering to company policies and report the incident to the facilities supervisor or the facilities coordinator.
* Understand, support, and promote brand integrity and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
* Assist and/or work in other areas/departments as and when required or when asked to do so by a manager, senior manager, or company director.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Attributes
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a professional approach and attitude.
* Knowledge of cleaning and good hygiene practices.
* Previous experience working in a similar role would be desirable.
Hours of Work:
* Normal contractual hours of work are 40, 45 or 48 hours per week. If you are contracted to 40 hours per week the normal dayshift working day is from and the normal backshift working day is from, Monday to Friday inclusive. If you are contracted to 45 hours per week the normal working day is from 06.00 – 15.00 or 13.00 – Monday to Friday inclusive. If you are contract to work 48 hours per week, you will normally work an eight-day shift pattern, working four consecutive shifts of 12 hours per day, from or followed by four consecutive days off. However, your working times may vary and will depend on the demands of the role and the needs of the business.
