With a strong focus on transitioning innovative products from R&D to production, this role is a critical bridge between design and manufacturing.Senior Manufacturing EngineerPermanentASAP StartSalary dependent on experienceWoking | On-siteSenior Manufacturing EngineerThe Senior Manufacturing Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
* Provide engineering support across all phases of the product lifecycle, from prototype to production.
* Lead initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimise cost-efficiency.
* Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability, appropriate supplier selection and material choices.
* Design and specify manufacturing tools, fixtures, jigs and test systems.
* Support production setup and troubleshoot issues across mechanical, electrical and software systems.
* Take ownership of engineering change processes and documentation of procedures.
* Act as a mentor and leader within the team, supporting junior engineers and deputising when needed.
Senior Manufacturing EngineerThe ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:
* Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
* Proven experience in a production/manufacturing engineering role, ideally with electro-mechanical products.
* Proven experience taking products from concept through to manufacture (
