Hire Fleet Coordinator opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hire Fleet Coordinator to join a successful and growing vehicle rental operation. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role where you'll take ownership of the hire process from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery, ensuring an exceptional customer experience every step of the way.

Duties of the Hire Fleet Coordinator As a Hire Fleet Coordinator, you will be responsible for maximising fleet utilisation and driving hire revenue by managing customer enquiries, coordinating vehicle movements, and ensuring all hire administration is completed accurately and compliantly.
- Manage the complete vehicle hire process from initial enquiry through to vehicle delivery, collection, and final invoicing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers.
- Respond to incoming hire enquiries, customer requests, and service-related queries.
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound sales calls and customer engagement.
- Coordinate vehicle deliveries and collections, working closely with drivers and operational teams to maximise fleet utilisation.
- Process all hire documentation and ensure compliance requirements are met for both customers and vehicles.
- Update vehicle insurance records and fleet information as required.
Experience/skills required for theHire Fleet Coordinator- Previous experience in fleet rental, vehicle hire, transport, logistics, customer service or a similar coordination role.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous sales or business development experience.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicles, fleet operations or municipal vehicles desirable
