Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Braintree Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths GCSE tutoring sessions Develop tailored lesson plans to meet the individual learning needs of students Provide academic support and guidance to help students improve their grades Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development Required Qualifications: Hold a relevant teaching qualification Demonstrated experience in tutoring English and Maths at the GCSE level Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in tutoring English and Maths at the GCSE level Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements Ability to engage and motivate students to achieve academic success Effective classroom management skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds Additional certifications in teaching or tutoring Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling Work primarily in a learners home or local library Potential travel within the East of England region All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
