What will I be doing?
As a Conference and Banqueting Operations Coordinator, you are responsible for coordinating set-ups and seating as well as managing queries to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A C&B Operations Coordinator will also be required to contribute to reaching departmental targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
1. Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
2. Coordinate seating for customers
3. Up-sell with latest departmental incentives
4. Manage Conference and Banquet set-ups
5. Ensure guests are billed accurately
6. Follow cash handling procedures
7. Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
8. Strive to achieve departmental targets as part of the team
9. Ensure cleanliness of work areas
10. Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
11. Comply with local licensing laws
12. Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships
13. Be environmentally aware
