Job Description


This is a Data Analyst role where you will be working as part of the analytics team within the Estates function, focusing on developing, analysing & creating tools/models/reports used by the business. You must have an analytical mindset, strong communication skills & be able to adapt to fast paced, ever changing business environments.

Role Description:

* Serve as the key analytical point of contact for one of the fastest-growing areas of the business, leading forecasting and delivering analysis to support continued growth.
* Liaise with c-suite and senior leadership, fulfilling data and report requests and developing strategies.
* Create and implement AI and automation projects, primarily in Airtable.
* Leverage VBA to automate manual processes.
* Assist in the maintenance and development of Power BI reports.
* Produce ad-hoc reports and perform detailed analysis of property data using Excel.
* Write and optimise database queries.
* Identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
* Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications


Essential Skills:

* Advanced Excel skills, including VBA and Power Query.
* Experience in developing Power BI reports, including writing and optimising DAX measures.
* Proficient in SQL, and experienced working with relational databases.
* Understanding of financial concepts such as EBITDA, or an interest in developing financial knowledge is advantageous.
* Familiarity with Airtable is advantageous.
* Experience with programming languages such as Python or R is advantageous.
* Background in commercial property, utilities or retail analytics is advantageous.
* Able to hold your own in meetings and confident talking to senior stakeholders
* Able to manage and prioritise workload.
* Strong problem-solving ability & a commercial mindset
* Able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders with various levels of technical understanding.
* Proactive, independent, self-starter who is ready to jump in and get things done
