As a registered nurse, you will have the time and space to offer truly holistic, high-quality palliative and end-of-life care, putting dignity, compassion, and individual needs at the heart of everything we do.
Hours: 36 hours per week over 7 days (with flexibility to work days and nights) Part time hours considered
What is the role?
As an IPU Nurse, you will deliver and coordinate high-quality, person-centred care for patients with life-limiting conditions. You will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering care with:
* Clinical excellence, rooted in evidence and compassion
* Skilled symptom management and emotional support
* A holistic approach that honours the person, not just the diagnosis
* Partnership with families and carers, through even the most complex journeys
* Working in a multidisciplinary team including doctors, therapists, and social workers
We will equip you with specialist knowledge and offer a comprehensive induction and ongoing development, so whether you are experienced in palliative care or not, you will grow into the role with confidence and resilience.
Main duties of the job
There will be a requirement to work shifts in the community and work flexibly across both teams as needed.

About us
Prospect Hospice is an independent hospice supporting a community of 300,000 people in Swindon, Marlborough and North Wiltshire, and the villages of Lechlade and Fairford in Gloucestershire.
It is the only dedicated provider of specialist end of life care services within it's locality. The Hospices multi-professionals teams support people in the community, in care homes, at the Great Western Hospital and at the Hospice in Wroughton. Care is also extended to the families and friends of patients.
