Design Engineer – Axbridge, North Somerset
Salary: GBP35,000 – GBP40,000

Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognised as second to none. Due to exciting plans for 2025 they are looking for a Design Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Responsibilities
* Leading mechanical design, development and prototype of new projects. Product improvement assignments
* Design of products using SolidWorks, DFMA requirements, maintaining technical compatibility
* Carry out FMEA studies on designs and prototypes
* Completion of test documentation, compliance reports, new product development test summaries
* Considering new components, materials and technologies to evaluate functionality
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering Degree
* Strong attention to detail
* Working with SolidWorks design packages
