Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
My client is a Leading UK Housebuilder with a reputation for building quality homes nationwide. Due to a significant increase in key projects, the company is now looking for an experienced driven Quantity Surveyor to join their Midlands based Commercial Team to support a variety of residential developments. Reporting to the Commercial manager, you’ll be instrumental in managing costs and securing the financial success of projects.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for:
Preparing and managing detailed cost plans, budgets, and forecasts for residential projects
Conducting regular valuations and cost reporting to track financial progress.
Managing procurement processes and negotiating subcontractor and supplier contracts
Identifying and mitigating financial risks throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborating closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to control costs.
Ensuring compliance with contractual and company policies, and maintaining accurate cost reporting and documentation
Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
HND qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction or equivalent and a valid CSCS card
Strong commercial awareness and a good understand of budget management.
Excellent communication and networking skills
Good IT skills and proficient with COINs and other relevant software

You will benefit from a salary of £50,000-£65,000 DOE, with further career progression opportunities.
