Are you an experienced procurement professional looking to take the lead in a stand-alone role, where you can drive forward all things procurement? Within this role you will be working with a newly implemented supplier management system and will play a critical role in building and maintaining effective supplier relationships and performance, whilst collaborating with relevant departments to ensure effective delivery from suppliers to the business.
What youll do:
1. Support first-line business owners in identifying and selecting suppliers through in-depth research and analysis of financial stability, capacity, reputation, and quality standards.
2. Lead and manage end-to-end RFI/RFP processes, ensuring decisions are transparent, evidence-based, and fully auditable.
3. Build and nurture strong supplier relationships to foster collaboration and deliver long-term value.
4. Analyse procurement spend and identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and category management.
