Key Responsibilities


Training Programme Management

* Lead the planning and coordination of a wide range of internal and external construction training programmes, including Health & Safety, CSCS/NPORS cards, and NVQs.
* Ensure all training is delivered efficiently, on schedule, and aligned with business and project needs.


Compliance Oversight

* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date training records, schedules, and databases for site operatives and staff.
* Monitor training attendance, engagement, and feedback to evaluate programme success and drive improvements.
* Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, standards, and mandatory certification requirements.


CITB Grant & Funding Management

* Take ownership of CITB grant applications, submissions, and reconciliations to maximise available funding.
* Maintain robust documentation and ensure full compliance with CITB requirements.
* Act as the subject matter expert and main point of contact for all CITB‑related activity, supporting the business in accessing funding opportunities.


Continuous Improvement & Insight

* Analyse training data and performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for enhancement.
* Stay informed on industry developments and CITB updates, implementing best practices to strengthen learning initiatives.
* Contribute to the ongoing evolution of training processes to improve efficiency and overall effectiveness.


Experience/Skills

* Proven experience managing CITB grant applications, submissions, and reconciliations.
* Strong knowledge of construction industry training programmes, including CSCS, NPORS, and NVQs.
* Excellent organisational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Proactive, solutions‑focused, and passionate about workforce development.
* Familiarity with e‑learning platforms and digital training tools is a plus.
