Technician/Laboratory Support Assistant
Casual Grade 5
Under instruction and following appropriate training:
* Prepare, set up and dismantle equipment and other materials.
* Work with colleagues to construct equipment which will meet requirements.
* Effectively plan, prioritise and respond to ensure an effective, timely service is delivered.
* Respond to queries and deal with problems, escalating issues as required.
* Clean, check and maintain equipment.
* Update records and provide information and data as required.
* Work with internal and external contacts to deliver a service.
* Provide advice, instruction, demonstration and guidance.
* Contribute to effective health and safety practices.
* Work with colleagues to identify and implement improvements to working activities.
