(Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered) The basics: Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Industry: Manufacturing Location: Swindon Pay: Starting at £42100 and rising to £45000 Overtime = earnings of £50,000 and upwards Hours: 37.5hrs Mon-Thurs 6am to 2:10pm with a short shift on a Friday, afternoons = Mon-Thurs 2:10pm-10pm and Fridays 2pm-7:15pm Overtime rates: 1.5x Monday-Saturday and 2x Sunday Holidays and benefits: 28 days plus 8 bank holidays, company pension, life insurance, private medical. Overview: Working for a large manufacturing business that have sites across the world we now require a site-based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered. Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role: To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time. Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Time served apprentice trained or above Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications.Commutable from: Swindon, Cirencester, Oxford and surrounding areas.
