Vanrath are delighted to be recruiting for a Receptionist role on behalf of a luxury hospitality group in Ballymena working on a temporary to permanent basis.


What's in it for you?

1. Full time hours Monday - Sunday (Rota based) Based on 5 days out of 7
2. Hours fall anytime between 7am and 10pm
3. Temp with the view to going perm
4. £12.52 to £14.02 depending on experience

About your next employer
Your main role will be to manage all the check-in/out of guests, as well as operating our main switchboard. You must be someone with a welcoming, friendly demeanour, someone who is ready to answer any questions the guests may have about the Resort and the local area.

What you'll do
About you

5. Dealing with all guest queries - by phone, post, online, and face-to-face.
6. Maintaining a good knowledge of all the services in order to deal with daily client queries and bookings.
7. Identifying and maximising sales opportunities in all client queries/contact.
8. Carrying out reception procedures as per the daily checklists.
9. Carrying out administrative duties as required.
10. Working within the guidelines of health and safety operatives to ensure all staff and guests are safe at all times.


Essential criteria, applicants must have;

11. At least 6 months' experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in a customer-facing role.
12. Previous Reception experience
13. Confident IT skills to include word and excel.
14. Experience or an interest in the hospitality industry.
15. A good customer service background with the ability to demonstrate skills that deliver outstanding customer service.
16. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
17. Be warm, friendly, and energetic with great pride in your overall appearance.
18. A flexible work approach.


Desirable criteria;

19. Previous experience gained in a hotel
20. Previous experience working in the Hospitality sector.
21. Previous experience working as a switchboard operator.
