Overview
We are seeking an experienced Market Reports Writer with a strong background in the gaming or iGaming sector to lead the creation of a series of in-depth market intelligence reports. The ideal candidate is an independent researcher and structured writer who can work closely with internal content leadership while driving projects forward with minimal supervision. You will need to have a great background of writing within iGaming. The client is proposing a price per report and will need 3 reports written to begin with. We have an example report to share with all suitable applicants to give you a great idea as to their level of detail, length, complexity etc.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce three comprehensive iGaming market reports by January 2026 (timelines subject to change).
* Develop report structures and present proposed outlines for approval by the Content Director.
* Conduct industry research, including identifying and reaching out to key contacts for interviews to gather qualitative insights.
* Source quantitative data, working alongside internal stakeholders to procure relevant datasets from external suppliers (e.g., EGM/data providers).
* Write each report (approx. 10,000 characters per report) with clarity, analytical depth, and sector-specific expertise.
* Support the commissioning of a freelance data‑visualisation designer, assisting with briefing and coordination for dashboard creation (Flourish or similar platforms).
* Integrate data visualisations and insights into the written report as needed.
* Submit final drafts to the Content Director for review and feedback.
* Collaborate with the internal team who will manage design, layout, and final production of the reports.
Requirements
* Proven experience producing market reports, industry analyses, or research‑driven content, ideally within gaming/iGaming, digital entertainment, or adjacent sectors.
* Ability to structure complex content, conduct interviews, and synthesize both qualitative and quantitative data.
* Familiarity with data‑driven storytelling and the use of visualisation tools (direct design experience not required).
* Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
* Comfort operating in a project‑based, deadline‑driven environment.
Preferred Experience
* Previous work with iGaming operators, suppliers, platforms, or regulatory bodies.
* Understanding of gaming hardware, platforms, or electronic gaming machine (EGM) ecosystems.
* Experience collaborating with designers or data‑visualisation specialists.
