An opportunity has arisen for a PracticeDevelopment Sister/Charge Nurse working with our Phyllis Tuckwell Education andClinical teams across our Farnham, Guildford and Camberley sites and into thecommunity.
3 0 hours per week
Salary £34,534 per annum (WTE£43,167 based on hours)
Main duties of the job
Weare looking for an experienced registered nurse with current post registration experiencein palliative care or relevant practice, to work as part of the Education teamto help promote a culture of critical thinking evidenceand skills-based practice, through practice development and continuouslearning. Phyllis Tuckwell has a positive approach to developing and sharingknowledge, so this role would ideally suit a clinician whose passion is todrive forward clinical practice contributing to quality improvement andclinical leadership. The role encompasses the assessment ofclinical skills and competences, support in practice, as well as supporting thedevelopment and review of clinical policies and guidelines as a team approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,enthusiasm, current clinical experience and being a team player are essentialrequirements, working with teams and managers to deliver high quality servicesfor patients, carers, and their families.
