Purchasing Manager | £35,000 - £45,000 | Tunbridge Wells, Kent
My client is a leading manufacturer within their industry, known for high quality products that are built to last. They are currently hiring for a Purchasing Manager to join their Procurement and Logistics team.
This role will primarily focus on ensuring the smooth flow of goods and stock across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee team performance and daily procurement workflows
* Negotiate with multiple freight forwarders to ensure best value and service
* Maintain and review supplier buying schedules and forecasting tools
* Coordinate overseas shipments, customs entries, and ensure
* Manage stock valuation files, transit logs, and projected cost updates
* Process tooling invoices and ensure accurate alignment with tax and reporting
* Address supply issues, quality concerns, and drive resolution with suppliers
* Contribute to ongoing process improvement across procurement and stock planning
Essential Skills:
1. 5+ years of experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain management
