Pay Range £24,000 basic salary Job Description Join Our Team as a Booking Coordinator Location: Northampton (Full-Time, Office-Based - must be either currently residing in Northamptonshire or easily commutable into our office - NN4 7RG ) Are you organised, proactive, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Booking Coordinator to join our friendly team and help keep everything running smoothly. What You’ll Be Doing This is a busy and varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the go-to person for managing bookings and handling queries, with two peak call periods each day (around 10:30 AM and the last hour of the day ) when things really get moving, so you’ll need to plan your day to complete other tasks outside these busy windows. Your key responsibilities will include: Handling booking changes, processing extensions, and chasing timesheet approvals Managing timesheet adjustments, end dates, and PO burn rate Organising your workload so you’re ready for the busiest times of the day Responding to a high volume of inbound calls (around 600 per week across the team ) for ad hoc shifts and short-term placements Spotting gaps in rotas and filling them quickly Managing a busy inbox, including: Requests from ward managers Queries from workers Alerts about unfilled shifts and setting priorities Providing systems support and answering queries from colleagues Completing ad hoc admin tasks and processing manual payroll Using recruitment technology and communication tools to keep everything on track What We’re Looking For Previous office experience in a fast-paced environment is desirable Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines Strong organisational skills to balance workload around peak call times Excellent communication and teamwork skills Great attention to detail and analytical ability Comfortable managing large volumes of data and navigating systems Proactive approach to problem-solving and escalation Ability to prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment If you’re someone who loves staying organised, thrives under pressure, and enjoys working as part of a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you!
