Job Description
We are recruiting Cost Managers to join our London-based Communities and Local Government Cost Management Team, supporting high-profile and iconic projects across the sector. We offer full and part-time roles, with flexible working options.
The team handles a variety of projects for notable public sector organizations, including refurbishment of listed buildings, office fit-outs, high-volume residential projects, and master planning within cost management and cost assurance.
Typical duties include:
* Commercial delivery across diverse projects
* Building professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
* Cost management of contracts aligned with project goals and policies
* Accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting
* Managing cost variance, contract cash flow, and timely applications
* Collaborating to deliver project KPIs, including program performance, cost control, and value engineering
* Managing contract changes effectively within governance and best practices
* Improving forecast and budget accuracy
* Providing commercial support and knowledge to stakeholders
* Negotiating and finalizing project accounts
Qualifications
* Proven track record in delivering high-quality cost management or quantity surveying services
* Degree or HNC qualification
* Professional qualification (e.g., MRICS) or working towards it is preferred
* Ability to manage multiple projects successfully
