You’ll have an important part to play as an integral member of the Stock Management Team to maintain and improve all aspects of a multi-user site stock integrity. You will drive the business to operational excellence by utilising the internal principles, tools and techniques, ensuring all agreed SLA & KPI’s are consistently achieved. As Stock Manager you will drive continuous improvement and operational resilience within the site. You’ll coach and mentor the Stock Operations team to deliver the implementation of the Unipart strategy. As part of your key responsibilities you’ll: Utilise internal principles, systems, tools and techniques to drive cost reduction and quality benefits Reduce company stock liability through cyclical PI and monitoring the inbound, fulfilment, returns and repair stock movements Plan and deliver the annual stock take Ensure robust process improvements are in place to reduce stock/financial liability within the business Revise and/or develop procedures to comply with ISO requirements as well as internal requirements Highlight any critical/serious issues to the senior management team Identify and project manage corrective actions across operations to ensure the business has the most efficient systems in regard to stock at all times Develop the Stock Control team, ensuring succession planning to compliment the departments strategy and meet the business’ needs Support commercial with new implementations and attend client reviews Manage and motivate a team, setting clear KPI’s and objectives to ensure high standards of achievements About You We’d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you’d be able to perform well in this role!
