We are seeking 1:1 mentors to work with unemployed individuals in the Torbay area.
The role would be community based work, operating out of libraries, community centres and cafes or home visits.
You would be required to mentor people in life skills, mental health and employability skills with a view to progression towards or into employment/education.
The role requires driving license and transport as you will be required to meet customers in their local area.
An exceptional level of interpersonal skill, organisation skill and passion is required to do this kind of work.
This role would be paid on a timesheet basis with expenses such as travel/refreshments paid in addition to time sheeted hours. A laptop and mobile phone will be provided.
We have various short term contracts to fill and the possibility of further work to follow.
This role works well for those with other commitments, as time worked can be flexible to fit.
We will consider splitting the workload between 2 part time roles if this suits applicants.
