Role Overview
Our Vocational Skills Coaches (VSCs) inspire and coach learners in their industry, working closely with employers to support learners through both theory and practical work via a blended delivery approach, including online and face-to-face support. We are seeking a Vocational Skills Coach to deliver LGV apprenticeship standards in Reading. To succeed, you should possess:

Key Duties
* Plan and deliver training ensuring robust ILP and regular learner reviews
* Maintain accurate learner records and reports for management and audits
* Facilitate functional skills qualifications, providing feedback and liaising with specialists
* Offer exit advice and support for career progression
* Ensure consistent and fair teaching, learning, and assessment standards
* Deliver KPIs aligned with company expectations
* Operate within the delivery framework to support learner progress
* Provide high-quality learner experiences
* Build relationships with support teams and participate in quality assurance
* Drive self-generation within your operational area
* Maintain relationships with learners and clients, promoting the Learning Curve Group brand
* Plan CPD activities reflecting company and stakeholder requirements
* Be a vocational sector expert and contribute to strategic projects
* Demonstrate company values and behaviors, promoting equality and safeguarding
* Support learners, customers, and colleagues with advice and guidance
KPIs
* Manage a caseload of up to 42 learners
* Achieve retention and achievement targets
* Maintain less than 5% pass rate for planned end date learners
* Maintain regular contact with learners and employers
Delivery Skills and Qualifications
Comfort with e-portfolio tools for planning, resources, feedback, marking, OTJ, diary management, and audit trails.
Essential experience includes vocational expertise in the relevant area, meeting targets, good IT, communication, coaching skills, and a passion for learner support. Qualifications required are sector-specific qualifications, Level 2 Maths & English, with desirable qualifications including Level 3 teaching and assessor awards.
