Supply Chain Planner – Manufacturing Department: Supply Chain / Operations Reports to: Supply Chain Manager or Production Planning Manager Location: Small Heath Birmingham Job Summary: The Supply Chain Planner – Manufacturing is responsible for planning and coordinating the flow of materials, components, and finished goods through the manufacturing supply chain. This role ensures optimal production scheduling, material availability, and inventory levels to meet customer demand and production targets while minimising waste and cost. Key Responsibilities: Production & Materials Planning * Develop detailed production plans and schedules aligned with customer orders, capacity constraints, and lead times. * Translate demand forecasts into material requirements and coordinate with procurement for timely ordering of raw materials and components. * Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed to accommodate changes in demand, equipment downtime, or material shortages.
