Production Operative. Burslem Stoke on Trent We are currently seeking hardworking and reliable Production Operatives for a UK manufacturer of cement-based materials is looking for production staff to complete roles within the factory and warehouse areas. You will play a key role in the day-to-day production operations always ensuring quality and efficiency. This role involves regular manual handling and heavy lifting, so the applicant must be physically fit. Able multitask as various tasks are required to be completed. The role is varying shifts depending on the business requirements and is based on an 8 hour shift as standard with overtime opportunities. Shifts between the hours of 6am and 10pm will be required at certain times. Role Requirements Operating and assisting with equipment on the production lines. Assembly and packaging of products as per specifications. Maintaining a clean and organized working environment. Working according to company policies and procedures. Meeting production targets and deadlines. Attention to detail. Able to use own initiative and complete tasks in a timely manner. Able to work flexible hours to meet the requirements of the company. Flexible and reliable attitude. Experience Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be physically fit as part of the role is manually moving 20-25kg sacks. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently within a team. Good communication skills and positive attitude. Counterbalance and reach truck experience would be an advantage. Ability to work as part of a team but also to work independently on occasions. Willing to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. Understanding of written and spoken English.
