The Cellular Pathology Department at East Sussex Healthcare Trust is looking to recruit a highly motivated 'Clinical Administrator' to join our busy, yet friendly department. We have two full time positions available.

The post holder will provide support to the Scientific and Consultant staffs of the department by carrying out all administrative duties to a high standard and supporting the core service work of the department. The post holder will be expected to work as part of a team within the Cellular Pathology office.
To provide secretarial and clerical support to the Consultant Histopathologists; to carry out data entry into the pathology LIMS systems; to type specimen reports /referral letters; to gather slides for MDMs and print out associated reports; to interact with patients, general public, clinicians and trust staff as necessary; to maintain accurate filing systems; to undertake general office duties e.g. photocopying / sending emails according to guidelines; to respond to queries in the generic email inbox.
