Ensure the organisation maintains compliance with data protection regulations, keeping all GDPR-compliant policies and procedures under review.
1. Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIA) and draft data sharing agreements, as appropriate.
2. Review and maintain a complaint handling process in line with regulatory requirements.
3. Ensure all website/social media content complies with legal standards, including GDPR.
4. Draft, review, and update policies and procedures, as required.
5. Deputise for the Head of Compliance & Central Support in compliance-related matters, as required.
6. Keep staff/volunteers on track with their annual mandatory training requirements.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and is able to work at pace in a department that is expected to meet deadlines.
Essential skills and experience:
* Specialist experience within a compliance role, with GDPR expertise.
* Good understanding of regulatory requirements and data privacy principles.
* Excellent organisational and document management skills.
* Proven strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* High level of accuracy and thoroughness, with excellent attention to detail and a systematic approach to managing tasks.
* Able to work under pressure, to deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience of complaint handling.
* Full clean driving licence and use of own vehicle, Disability Confident.
