What's involved with this role: MARAC ADMINISTRATOR JM BL 367637 Devon & Cornwall £12.79 per hour Location: Cambourne, Devon & Cornwall 37 hours per week Contract Length: 7 months FULLY OFFICE BASED Our client is seeking a professional and confidential Administrative Support Officer to deliver a high standard of administrative assistance to both internal and external stakeholders, including individuals, teams, and units. The post-holder will work within the MARAC team, supporting sensitive and critical operations involving vulnerable individuals. Candidates MUST have good minute/note taking skills. Key Responsibilities: Administer elements of internal processes in line with national and organisational standards. Maintain accurate paper and electronic records in compliance with relevant policies. Update and interrogate databases; manipulate and present data where required. Draft clear and structured correspondence, guidance notes, and documents. Serve as a key contact for the MARAC team, managing professional enquiries. Input and manage complex data accurately within IT systems. Create and maintain spreadsheets and documents to support operational functions. Attend and support relevant meetings through minue/note-taking and administrative follow-up. Potential exposure to sensitive and distressing material. Direct engagement with vulnerable individuals. Completion of an enhanced medical questionnaire is required. Further Occupational Health review may be needed based on responses. Essentials: While no formal qualifications are required, candidates must demonstrate: Proven experience in a similar administrative office environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to collate and present data from multiple sources Self-motivation and accountability for managing workloads Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Experience liaising with internal departments and external agencies A commitment to diversity, community values, and inclusive working Effective communication and a solution-focused mindset Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Force systems and databases (Desirable) Freedom of Information (FOI) Act (Desirable) General Resource Scheduling (GRS) (Desirable) We will also add your details to our mail out lists.
