Salary: £75,000 - 81,000 per year Requirements: Security clearance to BPSS level as a minimum Experience in an information assurance role on large-scale contracts, ideally for Central Government departments or agencies Proven experience in writing assurance artefacts, such as security accreditation evidence (RMADS) and Security Operating Procedures (SyOPs) Experience administering security processes Experience carrying out assurance activities and writing reports and recommendations Knowledge and experience of ISO27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF), and National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Standards and Guidance Ability to establish trusted relationships and successful partnerships with internal and external customers Experience in communicating and influencing across all levels Commercial awareness Ability to plan and execute assurance activities on time, budget, and quality Skill in identifying and assessing security risks and evaluating mitigations Responsibilities: Contribute to the ESN Security Management Plan, ISMS, and Security Processes to ensure effective management of security within the Programme Identify security threats to ESN and ensure the adequacy of processes and controls to mitigate them Work with other Security professionals and teams to meet ESN security objectives Engage with Customer security teams to provide assurance that security requirements are met and identify improvement opportunities Identify and understand all elements of contractual security obligations for the ESN Contract Deliver and verify the implementation of end-to-end security services as defined within specified ESN contracts Deliver and implement ISO27001 compliant security strategies, policies, procedures, processes, threat identification & responses Manage operational risks related to people, information, assets, revenues, and reputation Ensure compliance with relevant security requirements, including HMG Security Policy Framework and company policies Monitor and manage third-party supplier compliance with contractual obligations Monitor and manage security awareness within the ESN Programme Technologies: Network Security Flow Support More: We are seeking a Cyber Security Governance & Assurance Specialist for a 6-month tenure based in London, with on-site requirements every two weeks as needed.
