Process Engineer

About the role
Our Process Engineers are responsible for a cell's short term performance, working closely with Process Leads, Maintenance, Operations, and reporting into our Site Improvement Engineer. They act as a core process owner and subject matter expert for assigned manufacturing technologies, equipment, or processes.
Your responsibilities
* Partner with cell Process Leads to deliver Tactical Improvement Plans (TIP) to drive improvement of KPIs (i.e Planned and Unplanned Downtime Losses/Waste).
* Proactively driving and ownership of actions from line level reviews.
* Actively build world class capabilities within the manufacturing environment.
* Lead implementation of centre lining, defect handling, best run settings, SMED.
* Lead complex problem-solving activities using structured CI tools (e.g. RCA, A3, DMAIC).
* Deliver daily improvement actions to reduce losses, improve efficiency, and enhance process robustness.
* Implement process improvements aligned to site CI strategy and business objectives.
* Review and address chronic losses at cell level through data-driven analysis and action plans.
* Develop and deliver process and continuous improvement training to operators, technicians, Engineers and cell leaders.
* Coach teams in CI methodologies, problem-solving tools, and standard work.
* Support talent development by embedding a continuous improvement culture.
The experience we're looking for
* Bachelors in Engineering or HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering with industry experience. (desirable)
* 5-10 Industry experience within manufacturing environment.
