Audit Manager
Location – Liverpool city centre
Salary – £60,000
About the company:
A broad Audit Manager role within a well-established accountancy practice, managing a small team.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage and deliver audit engagements from planning through to completion
* Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients including not for profit and SME/owner managed businesses and professional practices
* Directly line manage 3-4 team members
* Play an active role in business development, including:
* Involvement in pitches and tenders
* Identifying opportunities within existing client relationships
* Developing commercial confidence and visibility within the firm
* Ad hoc non audit related projects, including due diligence work and problem solving accounting issues
* Assisting with the firm’s Audit Quality Control process
Skills/Qualifications required:
* ACA/ACCA qualified
* Operating at Audit Manager level
* High level familiarity with UK auditing and accounting standards
* Background in general practice
* Experience managing multiple audits and deadlines concurrently
* Commitment to audit quality and attention to detail
* Experience of managing SRA Accounts Rules Reviews would be an advantage, but not mandatory
