Job Description
The Commercial Property Solicitor will be:
3. Leading development, investment and corporate occupier property transactions
4. Advising on site acquisitions, disposals, land promotion and option agreements
5. Conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating leases, sale/purchase contracts, and associated documents
6. Liaising with planning, environmental, tax, finance and other specialist teams
7. Managing junior staff or assistants, mentoring where needed
8. Building and maintaining relationships with clients (developers, investors, occupiers)
9. Ensuring commercial awareness and legal risk is managed effectively
10. Assisting with business development, pitch work or proposals
11. Meeting budget, billing, time recording and client service targets
The Successful Applicant
The Commercial Property Solicitor should be:
12. A solicitor (or equivalent) with 1‑3 years PQE in commercial property / real estate work
13. Experienced in development, investment, occupier or landlord & tenant matters
14. Strong drafting, negotiation, commercial awareness and attention to detail
15. Able to manage a transaction from start to finish, including due diligence and project coordination
16. Comfortable working in a team environment; able to contribute to business development
17. Excellent communication skills and client facing experience
