Job Description
We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative IT Environment & Release Manager to join our Group Finance IT (GFIT) team.This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the way in ensuring stability, control, and efficiency across our non-production environments, while enabling smooth and secure releases. What you’ll be doing:
1. Managing and supporting non-production environments across the application estate
2. Defining and maintaining environment strategies, policies, and IT controls
3. Coordinating environment usage, upgrades, and service levels
4. Collaborating with architects to align environment design with strategic goals
5. Planning and managing release windows, cycles, and deployment activities
6. Advising project teams on environment configurations and best practices
7. Publishing KPIs and management information on environment performance
8. Monitoring incidents, analysing trends, and driving continuous improvement
QualificationsWho we’re looking for:
9. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools and integration
10. Knowledge of Environment and Release, Configuration and Test Management principles and policies
11. Good understanding of IT infrastructure
12. Knowledge of SDLC
13. Prior experience in IT Environment and Release Management
14. Experience/exposure to DevOps and Agile methodology
15. Experience with release management tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Plutora, GitHub, GitHub Actions
16. Exposure to Source/Version control tools, CI/CD pipelines, Branching concepts
