We are seeking a skilled and reliable Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at one of the UK’s most popular water theme parks. This role involves preparing and cooking high-quality food in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment, ensuring consistent standards and exceptional service to our guests.
As a Chef de Partie, you will work across various food outlets within the park, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering well-prepared meals while maintaining a clean, organised kitchen space in line with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, cook and present dishes to agreed standards
2. Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operation during service
3. Assist in stock control, food rotation, and waste minimisation
4. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with food hygiene standards
5. Ensure all allergen procedures and documentation are correctly followed
6. Comply with all legal and company requirements, including food safety and health & safety policies
Competencies Required:
7. Strong cooking skills with attention to detail
8. Good communication and teamwork abilities
9. Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
10. Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to different kitchen sections
Qualifications & Compliance:
11. Food Safety Certificate Level 2 – required
12. Food Allergens Certificate – required
13. Proven knowledge of food safety and legal compliance
Uniform & Equipment:
14. White chef jacket
15. Black trousers
16. Steel toe safety shoes
17. Chef hat or skull cap
18. Kitchen Apron
19. Bring own sharp knives safely wrapped in a knife roll or case (cloth wrapping is not permitted)
