Key Responsibilities
* Support the formulation and implementation of departmental business plans, including KPI setting, performance tracking, and business development initiatives
* Assist with budgeting, management information reporting, and Head Office/regulatory reporting
* Coordinate closely with Corporate Banking and Treasury on relevant business activities and joint initiatives
* Liaise with internal stakeholders including Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, FinTech, and Audit to ensure smooth execution of FI-related activities
* Monitor FI credit portfolio and identify potential risks arising from market or counterparty developments
* Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal control frameworks and risk management processes
* Organise departmental meetings, seminars, and client events, ensuring effective end-to-end coordination
* Monitor departmental expenditure, including vendor payments and event-related costs
* Conduct market research and analysis on macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and industry insights, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and Head Office
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or above from a reputable university
* Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably within banking or financial services
* Sound understanding of wholesale banking products and FI business
* Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills
* High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin is advantageous but not mandatory
